FAIRFIELD, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/09 -- Virtual Ed Link, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VRED) --
Dr. Alan McCartney, Chief Operating Officer, and VRED management have begun
sales and marketing campaigns heavily focused on 2009 implementations of
the Safety and Security Management System (SSMS).
The initial campaigns will focus directly on the 140 school districts in
the 12 county geographical area covered by the Northeastern Regional
Information Center (NERIC). This region offers a potential of 174,276 users
and annual revenues of $784,235 for the basic SSMS service alone, excluding
add-on services.
NERIC and VRED management are currently meeting with these New York school
districts and have targeted a goal of serving 100,000 students for
implementation in 2009.
In addition to the joint marketing being conducted with NERIC, VRED will be
presenting the Safety and Security Management System this weekend in
Rochester NY at the Council of New York State Superintendents Fall
Leadership Summit. The Leadership Summit will have over 400 District
Superintendents in attendance and will provide VRED with the opportunity to
demonstrate the product and begin the sales process with school districts
throughout all of New York State.
Lastly, VRED has contracted with Broadblast Communications Inc. of Delmar,
NY as an authorized sales agent for distribution of the product suite.
Broadblast has a long successful track record of selling technical services
to school districts throughout the United States. Broadblast will be
joining VRED in Rochester this weekend.
