Official German capital web portal Berlin.de now mobile – with Netbiscuits
Germany's biggest city website available on mobile phones

BerlinOnline and Netbiscuits, a leading B2B software service for the creation and operation of mobile websites, announce the launch of the redesigned mobile version of Berlin.de available in your mobile phone browser at mobil.berlin.de. Berlin.de mobile lets you access current information on Germany's most widely used city portal on your mobile phone wherever you are.

 

Berlin.de is the official online presence for the German capital. It is aimed at Berliners who are interested in culture and politics as well as tourists who want information on Berlin.de right at their fingertips, anytime, anywhere. Main topics include Berlin cinema, culture, tourism, travel, as well as certain service offerings provided to citizens by the Berlin Senate. In addition, users can access information about public transit within the Berlin-Brandenburg region as well as other services like directory assistance and yellow pages. There will also be new, additional contents and applications only available for mobile use. Berlin.de is edited, managed, technically supervised, and marketed by BerlinOnline.

 

“We're happy to launch the capital's city portal Berlin.de in this expanded mobile version”, notes Sven Heller, Managing Director at BerlinOnline. “With the help of Netbiscuits, the content, layout, and multimedia elements of our site were automatically adapted to suit more than 6,000 different mobile end devices. The new Berlin.de mobile site was designed by the Munich based mobile marketing agency 12Snap. „With BerlinOnline, we're happy to have found another client for our portfolio who relies on 12snap's strength and quality of design.
