O3SIS, a Gemalto company, is the leading mobile software solution provider. The O3SIS SyncML Client allows iPhone users to protect their address book through simple back-up and synchronization with the Deutsche Telekom address book on the O3SIS’ secured server. Once their data has been stored, subscribers can easily access it through a user-friendly web interface and manage all their contact details in one place. Deutsche Telekom subscribers will be first to enjoy this new service through the operator’s existing web portal and O3SIS’ solution.

For many mobile users, their address book has become one of the most essential features with great emotional value as it includes priceless information about family, friends and professional as well as social networks. Therefore, the loss or theft of their device can be very distressing since a large part of their social life stored on the iPhone disappears with the loss.

With the help of the new application users can save their contacts directly from their iPhone to their Deutsche Telekom address book – either on demand or automatically. Changes made in the address book can be transferred back to the iPhone with one click.
