The morning of December 4^th is a breakfast not to be missed with the Utah Technology Council (UTC), (www.utahtech.org) Utah's premier professional organization. This year's PR event focuses on social media marketing tips for growing a business.

"It's not enough anymore to simply know about Facebook or blogging," stated Richard R. Nelson, president and CEO of UTC. "For too long leaders thought that social networking was something young people used exclusively. The time has come for us all to look forward to the future of business and PR marketing, and that future relies heavily on social networking."

Social networking has become a proven commodity for successful business and several Utah Social Media experts will address the PR Breakfast on Facebook, Twitter, and Blogging.

Presenters include:

• Jack Hadley, CEO of LAVA7, will discuss Facebook and the practical business usage that leaders can achieve.
• Rachel Herrscher, CEO and co-founder of Today's Mama, will highlight the blogging world and how blogs affect marketing in today's business world.
• Brian Watkins, Adobe PR Manager, will talk about the benefits and variety of uses for twitter and how micro blogging can extend your reach online.

All attendees will meet in a group for a short overview on social media marketing. Following the overview will be three separate 25-minute breakout sessions with the presenters. Attendees will be able to rotate through the sessions and learn from an expert on that particular social network.
