LM520-FOSC (the new model) has an optical scanner of the latest generation that guarantees an excellent reading of the fingerprint. Customers already in possession of an iGuard with fingerprint scanner have the option to buy the kit to upgrade their model of iGuard with optical fingerprint scanner.

iGuard is a Biometrics and Contactless Smart Card & Time Attendance and Access Control system offered by Infordata. Instead of using the classic optical fingerprint scanner, iGuard works with the most advanced fingerprint sensor for fingerprint recognition, to secure the highest results of fingerprint identification in the field. In a different way from other security systems, iGuard is equipped with an Embedded Web Server, which allows all kinds of systems (Apple Macintosh, PCs and Unix machines, etc.) in the company network of computers to do installation, maintenance and get information from the device concurrently, using any Internet Browser.
