LAS VEGAS, NV and MOORESVILLE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 11/22/09 -- Beverage Plus Holdings
Corporation (PINKSHEETS: CLNP) and FCBBI AG (FRANKFURT: 3FC.de) and Mike
Harmon Racing announced today that Jennifer Jo Cobb will be behind the
wheel on the 1.5 mile Speedway in Homestead-Miami for the Ford 300 NNS Race
in the #84 MC2 Energy Drink Dodge. Jennifer Jo Cobb is the only woman
driver this weekend in NASCAR that is attempting to qualify for one of the
three big races.
Ronald Serota, President of MC2 Energy Drink talked about teaming up with
Mike Harmon Racing and supporting Jennifer Jo Cobb, the only woman driver
to make an attempt at Homestead. "We have been looking to start a
partnership with Jennifer for some time now. She represents us on and off
the track as well as anyone in NASCAR; and her skills, looks and
personality makes it a win-win-win for MC2 Energy Drink. We are all
excited about the race weekend and working with Jennifer as the NASCAR
Season rolls into 2010."
MC2 Energy Drink will serve as the primary marketing partner on the car for
the race to be held at 4pm on Homestead-Miami Speedway. MC2 Energy Drink
has a long standing marketing presence in the sport of NASCAR, but this
weekend will mark the company's first alliance with female driver Jennifer
Jo Cobb and Mike Harmon Racing. Available in Berry Blue and Cherry Red, MC2
Energy Drink is formulated to taste good, quench your thirst and provide
that boost of energy that gets us all revved up.
"I'm very excited to have MC2 Energy Drink on our #84 Dodge for this
weekend's NNS race in Miami," said Owner Mike Harmon, who sat on the pole
during the first ever race held at the Speedway during the Slim Jim All-Pro
Series. "I'd like to thank the people at MC2 Energy Drink for their support
of our Team and Jennifer Jo Cobb. We look forward to making this a
successful long term relationship."
Jennifer is not just the only woman driver competing in a NASCAR event this
weekend in Homestead, but Mike Harmon Racing had a NASCAR Triple Play
happen right before our eyes during Nationwide Practice yesterday. The
Triple Play starts with Jennifer Jo Cobb as she took to the track for some
practice laps in the #84 MC2 Energy Drink Dodge, continued with Denise
Mixon spotting for Jennifer during practice and was completed by Team
manager Kim Castognia for the Triple Play of women taking the #84 MC2
Energy Drink Dodge out to battle.
During the first practice in the #84 MC2 Energy Drink Dodge Jennifer ran
for 16 laps total, with a fast lap of 158.066 MPH. "We made some
adjustments and found some more speed toward the end of the first session,"
said Cobb. "Hopefully we can continue to improve our speed and get this
#84 MC2 Energy Drink Dodge locked in for our qualifying run."
"I am happy to represent MC2 Energy Drink this weekend in Homestead," said
Jennifer Jo Cobb. "They are doing some big things in the sport and I
appreciate them backing me here in Homestead. The MC2 energy drink taste
great and gives me that boost I'm looking for. The People at Beverage Plus
are wonderful and I look forward to working with them further in 2010."
