Flexible and Versatile Features
The simplicity of the TASKalfa 300i’s 8.5 inch color touch screen
control panel allows end-users to quickly and efficiently navigate
functionality, imaging and finishing options. Benefits include
full-color scanning, a USB host interface for portable document sharing,
and optional fax and internet fax capabilities.
The TASKalfa 300i efficiently processes documents and data with its
standard memory capacity of 2 GB of RAM and 160 GB hard disk drive. With
the ever increasing speed of business and the demand for document
portability, Kyocera offers an advanced USB host interface that gives
users the ability to conveniently print-from and scan-to a USB drive in
PDF, JPEG, TIFF and XPS file formats – directly from the control panel.
Scanned PDF documents can be password protected, encrypted from the
control panel, and can be shared through features such as: scan to
e-mail, scan to SMB, scan to FTP, scan to USB, and WSD and TWAIN
scanning.
The TASKalfa 300i comes standard with dual 500-sheet adjustable paper
drawers and a 200-sheet multi-purpose tray. Maximum paper capacity tops
2,200 sheets and a wide range of paper stock is supported, from 16 - 32
lb Bond in the trays, and up to 110 lb Index from the multi-purpose tray.
For complex document finishing needs users can choose from a space
saving internal finisher or a 1,000 sheet multi-position finisher, both
designed to handle any workgroup’s finishing requirements.

The performance of Kyocera’s TASKalfa series is further optimized
through Kyocera’s Hybrid Platform for Advanced Solutions (HyPAS). HyPAS
is a powerful and scalable software solution platform designed to
optimize Kyocera’s MFPs with integrated solutions that enable the
TASKalfa 300i to seamlessly integrate with widely accepted software
applications and operate in virtually any environment.
The TASKalfa 300i comes standard with Kyocera’s KX Driver, PDF Direct
Print and unique PRESCRIBE Solution for on-demand black and white
document creation and output. In addition, Kyocera offers advanced
document workflow solutions such as KYOcapture and KYOcapture Express,
which integrate with many of the industry’s leading document management
systems, including SentryFile, LaserFishe, Documentum, and Microsoft
SharePoint; and flexible network and device management tools such as
