According to Armin Karu, Chairman of the Board of Olympic Entertainment Group, the company has had its interest in online gaming market already for some years but as a publicly listed company it was not found possible to operate in a market that is not fully regulated. "New Gambling Law in Estonia enabled us to register the first legal online casino in Estonia and change the operations of the Group truly internationally," Karu said.

Armin Karu pointed out that despite being registered in Estonia, Olympic-Online.com is open to players from all over the world starting from the first day of operations. "The web page, the gaming environment as well as the customer support are available in English, Estonian, Russian and very shortly also in Finnish and Swedish," he added.

Olympic Casino received the first online gaming license in Estonia on 21 January 2010 and completed the software testing in cooperation with leading software developer Playtech at the end of last week.
