iPad - T minus 2 days... Wake the Crew and Strap Them In, its going to be a great ride!
As if the potential iPad owners can sleep... I think they will be like kids at Christmas time, waiting anxiously.... So close but still so far
Soon they will have...
- Two Devices, one OS... at least twice the fun, twice the enjoyment & twice the productivity
I imagine a cross section of iPhone users will become iPad users as well. They already run their Mobile Lifestyle with iPhone in hand, but long for something to complement in addition, not replace, but extend...with the same innovative design & UI. Then there will be the new users that WILL already see what they can achieve with a device like the iPad.
As I have said before, I can see the iPad becoming the 'darling' of the Mobile Information Workers and the Mobile Consumer... a great device that has a proven OS and a device that can run Enterprise Built Applications on a large screen. This is not to take anything away from iPhone in The Enterprise, where the same users can carry a smaller device but with a limited screen and both running the same application, though with different User Interface views on the same data. In fact the pair of devices complement each other perfectly!
