Luidia, Inc., the award-winning developer of eBeam portable interactive whiteboard and display solutions, today announced a product integration with Vaddio, the leading manufacturer and OEM distributor of specialty pan/tilt/zoom cameras and high-end camera control systems. The partnership integrates Luidia’s eBeam interactive technology with video capture technology from Vaddio to create the Vaddio Video Whiteboard, a new and innovative class of video whiteboard solutions.

The Vaddio Video Whiteboard uses eBeam Digital Ready - hardware that contains pre-built partitions for an interactive receiver, cords and cables - to stream whiteboard content along with high definition video so users can see both presenter and content with clear resolution.

Using eBeam Digital Ready, the presenter’s whiteboard marker pen strokes are captured on the whiteboard surface and converted directly to video, eliminating the need for a PC. Setup and user whiteboard controls are integrated directly into the whiteboard frame so presenters can use quick keys to calibrate, change marker stroke sizes, save files and more.

Pioneered by Luidia, eBeam Digital Ready provides a way for partners and end users to gradually upgrade to interactivity. Modules can be integrated into whiteboards, furniture and more. Once a user decides to “go digital,” an eBeam Digital Ready Upgrade provides interactivity in minutes.
