UBM Global Trade Expands Breakbulk Magazine and Events, Increases Staff

NEWARK, New Jersey, May 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Global Trade today announces several significant investments designed to enhance its industry-leading Breakbulk franchise, which includes three global Breakbulk events, Breakbulk Magazine and Breakbulk.com. Key personnel appointments and product investments, including a newly designed Breakbulk.com and global distribution of Breakbulk Magazine, will ensure continued excellence of service to the heavy-lift, project cargo and traditional breakbulk shipping sectors.

Alli McEntyre, Vice President of Marketing Services for The Journal of Commerce, has been named Vice President and Publisher of Breakbulk, with responsibility for guiding the Breakbulk brand across all media, including events, print and online.

Janet Plume has been named Content Director of Breakbulk, overseeing all event programming, Breakbulk Magazine and Breakbulk.com content. With extensive experience covering the breakbulk market, Janet will deliver expanded analytical and data-rich information and analysis of particular value to EPCs, project owners, breakbulk commodity shippers and their service providers. Janet Nodar has been named Editor of Breakbulk Magazine and Breakbulk.com. In addition, Dana Brundage has been hired as Breakbulk Digital Editor.
