MANCHESTER, England, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- After women have been confined to flats through the months of cold weather, they're more eager than ever to toss their flats in the closet and don fashionable heels, regardless of the pain and discomfort they cause. In fact, 40% of the UK's females are passing up comfort for great style. While fashion trends are highly unlikely to take heed of any warnings, health experts strongly suggest women keep their heels shorter than one inch if they'll be wearing their shoes for long periods. If it's only for a short time, the experts do say inch and a half heels are fine.
