VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/27/10 -- Imperial Ginseng Products Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: IGP) announced today that Ms. Amelia Yeo has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Yeo was the controller of the Company and has been with the Company for approximately nine years. Ms. Yeo is a Certified General Accountant and has extensive public company accounting knowledge as well as operational and financial management experience.

Stephen McCoach, CEO, said, "We are very pleased that Ms. Yeo accepted the position as Chief Financial Officer as she brings valuable knowledge and experience to the financial activities of the Company."

The Company also announced today that Ms. Lynda Metcalfe has resigned as Chief Financial Officer for personal reasons. The board of directors thanked Ms. Metcalfe for her past services to the Company and wished her well in her pursuit to focus on her young family.
