Wmode, the developer and operator of the ClearMode® managed service,
announced today that they have been selected by new wireless carrier,
Mobilicity, to manage its portal and mobile content services as a fully
outsourced solution. Wmode will manage all of Mobilicity’s portal and
storefront services including, ringtones, graphics, games, pictures,
themes, news, and other information services. Wmode will also be
deploying an enhanced storefront technology, called “Smart Portal”. This
is a new addition to the ClearMode suite of services in North America
and will allow Mobilicity to take advantage of enhanced merchandizing
capabilities to better address different consumer segments and
demographics.

Through this agreement, Wmode will manage and operate all contractual,
technical and settlement activities for Mobilicity in addition to the
consumer retail experience. Using its extensive experience and knowledge
of the global mobile services market, the Wmode account team will work
closely with Mobilicity to build an industry-leading mobile content
business in Canada.
