Locals Invited to Watch all Live World Cup Matches at Boca Soccer Store

SAN DIEGO, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego Boca FC announced it will be celebrating the Grand Opening of its Boca Soccer Store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with master of ceremonies, Robert Hacken of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 10 at 1919 San Diego Avenue, San Diego, Ca. 92110. The ceremony will run from 10 am to 2 pm.

Poppa's Fresh Fish will be catering the Grand Opening, providing fish tacos, carne asada, drinks and other great food. The ESPN SoccerZone TV lounge area inside the Boca Soccer Store will also be open and airing daily the World Cup, Fox Soccer Channel and Gol TV matches, which includes daily soccer game coverage from around the world.

The ceremony will be attended by the entire Boca FC management, player and coaching staff. The community is encouraged to attend the festivities to meet and greet the Boca FC players, coaches, and owners.

As a tribute to this month's 2010 World Cup in South Africa, all San Diego soccer fans are invited to watch LIVE World Cup Soccer Matches at the Boca Soccer Store on its two 55" HD TVs in its dedicated ESPN Soccer Zone Lounge Area. The first game on Friday, June 11, 2010, Mexico vs. South Africa will be shown live at the Boca Store with doors opening at 6:30 am for the 7:00 am World Cup kickoff.

The Boca Soccer store was designed with the concept of creating a sense of community among soccer players, coaches, and fans from around San Diego County. It will become a center for passionate supporters of the sport to meet, discuss, and exchange experiences with one another, all while creating new ones.

The Boca Soccer store will offer a wide array of products from top brands, such as Lotto, Nike, and Adidas among many others. Soccer players and coaches will be able to browse and shop for cleats, bags, balls, and many other soccer related items, as well as merchandise and apparel from professional clubs and national teams from around the world.
