TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/15/10 -- Charter Real Estate Investment Trust ("Charter REIT") (TSX VENTURE: CRH.UN) is pleased to announce a $0.01333 per unit distribution for June 2010. The distribution will be paid on July 15, 2010 to unitholders of record on June 30, 2010.

Charter REIT currently has approximately 18,552,040 trust units outstanding.

Distribution Reinvestment Plan

Charter REIT offers a distribution reinvestment plan whereby residents of Canada may elect to have their cash distributions reinvested in additional units of Charter REIT. Currently, approximately 9% of the total issued and outstanding units have enroled in the plan.
