Samsung Electronics America, Inc., a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, announced today the availability of the Samsung Product Support TV (SPSTV) channel on Samsung Apps, the world’s first HDTV-based application store. The SPSTV App allows users to stream Samsung product support content 24 hours a day, 7 days a week directly to their living rooms. It is now available for download on all 2010 Samsung TVs that feature Samsung Apps.

SPSTV is an innovative internet-streaming television channel that provides product support to Samsung customers through its library of how-to video guides, weekly live-shows, and interactive chat sessions. The new SPSTV App brings customer service and product support beyond a toll-free number and into users’ living rooms. Currently, the SPSTV App offers a library of over 150 how-to videos covering topics from setting up a Samsung TV to syncing a Samsung mobile phone with a laptop, with plans to add more videos as new products are launched. New videos will also be created to address questions that consumers have encountered in the past.
