Citrix's got a little problem. The Patent and Trademark Office has upheld 25 of the claims that Citrix challenged when the Canadian company 01 Communique Laboratory Inc sued Citrix and its cloudy GoToMyPC product for patent infringement in early 2006. That gives Communique the right to assert 24 claims as infringed in all and it thinks GoToMeeting is also liable. Citrix said the claims couldn't be patented; the PTO now begs to differ. Communique's remote access widgetry is called I'm inTouch. GoToMyPC, a way of connecting with your PC from anywhere, has over a million users.
