GraphOn, a developer of cross-platform application publishing and Web-enabling software, has announced that it has entered into a distributorship agreement with Netherlands-based Acropolis Automation BV. Under terms of the accord, Acropolis will distribute the GO-Global software family in the Netherlands and throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
GO-Global is a fast, simple and affordable thin-client software solution that provides instant Web-based access to existing Windows, UNIX and Linux applications from any location, platform and operating system.
"As a cost-effective, server-based solution, GO-Global eliminates the need to modify existing applications or deploy complicated, costly infrastructure such as Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Windows Terminal Services," said Hans de Vries, Founder and CEO of Acropolis Automation. "We will be distributing GO-Global as a standalone software product, and also as an add-on to our Athena line of thin-client hardware."
"Acropolis is a pioneer in the server-centric, thin-client market and we are pleased to announce this strategic partnership," said Tom Castanzo, GraphOn’s Business Development Director for EMEA.
