TOPIC:						Live full-motion video (FMV) from unmanned aircraft systems has become indispensable in military and intelligence operations. Quality imagery is essential to mission success. Inconsistent quality and image degradation are problems and require immediate action.

						New open-architecture image processing technology is available to provide a level of visual clarity that has never been possible before. A wide variety of sophisticated image enhancement algorithms that have successfully been used on still images can now be applied to FMV.
