AFS recognized the demand for a BI tool that is integrated with our flexible WMS solutions that provide mission-critical real-time updates. Graphical dashboard views provide instant feedback on the condition of your operations, even indicating if your warehouse is falling behind in receiving, picking, shipping, etc., based on elapsed time through the shift and expected delivery times. AFS BI for WMS includes comprehensive analytical dashboards and data grid and chart views for continuous improvements.

Information can easily be viewed by summary or drill-down for specific data. For example, order fulfillment statistics across all warehouses or for an individual warehouse break down by customer and how much was shorted. Business Intelligence is available as dashboards alerting to immediate issues, along with grids and charts that can be easily filtered, conditions saved, and data printed or exported to external sources, such as email or presentations.

“Other BI tools require uploads of daily or weekly data extraction, but BI for WMS immediately updates in real-time as your operations change throughout the day,” says Ken Martin, WMS product manager at AFS Technologies. “Instead of running multiple reports, managers can see all pertinent operational information, including shipping, receiving, put-away, inventory control, adjustments, product lines, gains/losses, etc., at the same time and in real-time with the use of dashboards.”

There are numerous real-time and analytic dashboards in BI for WMS, including Performance, Labor, Space Utilization, Inventory Control, Back Orders, 3PL Revenue, etc. Analytical data shows trends for both the current period against the previous period and compares against industry target objectives.
