GolTV - Explosión en Audiencia Hispana en los EE.UU.

Se estima incontenible ascenso del canal pionero difusor de sólo fútbol en 2006

MIAMI, 16 de enero /PRNewswire/ -- En menos de tres años de crecimiento sin igual en la televisión por cable de los Estados Unidos, GolTV supera nuevamente las expectativas con una dosis de fantásticas noticias para dar el puntapié inicial en el año 2006, cuando se espera que la base de aficionados crezca en una forma explosiva infectados con la fiebre por la muy cercana Copa del Mundo.

Los números de Nielsen ya llegaron y entre los más ardientes aficionados del fútbol, los hispanos, el número de distribución ha incrementado un enorme 189% en un solo año, según el informe de cobertura de Hispanic Television Index (NHTI).

Es decir, en menos de tres años, GolTV ha logrado penetrar en el 31% o en un tercio de todos los hogares hispanos con TV por cable/satélite o aproximadamente 2.5 millones de hogares.

* Los hispanos de EE.UU. representan la mitad de los 2.9 millones en crecimiento poblacional de los EE.UU. según los últimos datos del Census Bureau. Los números más recientes estiman la población hispana en alrededor de 41.3 millones.

* El poder adquisitivo ha aumentado el 215% a lo largo de los últimos 13 años dentro de este segmento de la población. Se espera que aumente un 42% más en los próximos 5 años según el Centro Selig para Crecimiento Económico (Selig Center for Economic Growth).
