LONDON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/26/06 -- Cardinal Resources plc (LSE: CDL) ("Cardinal" or "The Company"), an independent oil and gas production and exploration company operating in Ukraine, was today notified that, following a sale of 1,000,000 shares at 26.98 pence per share, DKR Saturn Event Driven Holding Fund Ltd. now has an interest in 6,145,000 Cardinal Ordinary Shares, representing 5.36% of the issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company.
