We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. WHAT: The Art Directors Guild (ADG) will announce winners on February 11 in
seven categories of Production Design for motion pictures, television and
commercials competing in ADG's Tenth Annual Excellence in Production Design
Awards for 2005. Black-tie ceremonies will take place from the
International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The
event will be hosted by six-time Emmy® nominee, Jeffrey Tambor. Presiding
over the occasion will be ADG Council President Tom Walsh assisted by
Awards Co-Chairs Robert Strohmaier and Tom Wilkins.
As previously announced, ADG's Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic
Imagery Award will go this year to three-time Academy Award winner Steven
Spielberg, who has his imprimatur on four major films this year: "War of
the Worlds," (director); "Munich" (producer/director); "The Legend of
Zorro" (executive producer) and "Memoirs of a Geisha" (producer), whose
production designer John Myhre is an ADG nominee. Spielberg was also
executive producer of the TNT mini-series "Into the West," whose production
designer, Marek Dobrowolski is also an ADG's nominee this year. Other
highlights of the evening will be the first live public performance of the
Academy Award®-nominated song, "In The Deep" from "Crash" by its
co-composer/performer Kathleen "Bird" York (actress as well on "The West
Wing" and "The O.C."), as well as the presentation of the ADG's Hall of
Fame inductees, ADG's Lifetime Achievement Award and the Career Achievement
Award for Scenic Arts.
