In regards to the additional products, we have a skin installed and we have a product that we had custom developed for us that connects to a PostgreSQL database. We've looked at slow PostgreSQL queries causing problems and have not been able to find an issue. We've also tested for the case where the PostgreSQL server is down and have not been able to create an issue. We therefor...
ROCHESTER, Mich., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise Expectation Systems (EES), a Rochester, Michigan-based Internet service provider, has launched http://www.topohiowebsites.com/ . The new web site offers Ohio-based advertisers pinhead-size digital ads with links to their own sites beginning at twelve cents a pixel.
topohiowebsites.com, similar to the recently launched topmichiganwebsites.com, is taking the new wave in online marketing to the next level, by sharing a portion of the earnings with an Ohio-based charity. Lee has added the non-profit dimension for all of his pixel sites, hoping to give away up to twenty percent of what he makes per pixel beginning today through the end of year -- which could add up to as much as $100,000 for a local non-profit.
Lee is fashioning his site like Alex Tew's, a 21-year old entrepreneur from England, who hoped to graduate from college without debt. Tew sold each pixel on his site for $1.00 and raised one million dollars -- more than enough money to cover his college expenses.
"The selling of the pixels is a win-win for everyone involved," said Harry Lee, president of EES. "The companies who advertise on the site will receive tremendous exposure, while at the same time, providing support for a local charity. I think this is such a great way to give back to the community."
Non-profits are encouraged to send an email to donation@topusawebsites.com to apply for the endowment. The organization must be an Ohio-based 501(c)(3), and must submit three criteria:
1. Breakout in percentage of how dollars raised were used in 2004 and
2005
2. List of foundations who have donated to the organization in 2004 and
2005.
3. A paragraph, no more than 50 words, about the target recipients and,
if chosen, what the organization will do with the money.
Deadline for entries is Friday, March 3rd. Lee has also assembled an advisory committee who will help him choose the winning non-profit.
Since its inception, the recently launched topmichiganwebsites.com has already sold over 115,000 pixels.
