SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Wells Fargo Advantage Funds(SM) Web site has launched a new mutual fund PodPack feature for financial advisors.
Available on the Investment Professionals Web Site, http://www.wellsfargo.com/advantagefunds, this feature adds a new dimension to the popular podcast concept: Combining the standard audio file of portfolio manager commentary with supplemental information in the form of fund fact sheets, prospectuses, and other materials.
"Packaging the traditional audio with relevant fund literature is a great way to reach advisors both during their daily commute and throughout the day," said Brian Melter, Vice President of E-Business for Wells Fargo Funds Management. "Additionally, the one-time sign-up process makes it easy for advisors to receive the latest PodPack each time we publish new economic, market, and fund-specific commentary."
The debut PodPack contains audio featuring portfolio managers of the Wells Fargo Advantage C&B Large Cap Value Fund discussing recent market events and their outlook for the Fund. Additionally, the PodPack includes the most recent fund fact sheet and prospectus.
To use the PodPack application, financial advisors must use iTunes 6.0 or another compatible podcast application. After completing a one-time subscription process, financial advisors will receive all future PodPacks automatically.
