ISC’11 – The HPC Advisory Council, a leading organization for high-performance computing research, outreach and education, today announced that it will honor seven of its members including AMD, Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), Dell, HP, Intel, International SuperComputing (ISC) and Mellanox Technologies for their contribution and support during the June 2010 to June 2011 time frame. The awards ceremony will take place at the CCH-Congress Center Hamburg, Forum #950 on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 7:00-8:00 PM, with the presence of InsideHPC that will cover the event for press publications.
“The HPC Advisory Council relies on its members’ contributions to achieve its primary goals of furthering high-performance computing research, outreach, and education, and with these contributions we have increased our activities and publications in the last year,” said Gilad Shainer, chairman of the HPC Advisory Council. “We honor all of our members’ contributions, and in particular, we recognize AMD, CSCS, Dell, HP, Intel, ISC and Mellanox for their contributions to the success of the Council’s activities.”
“Throughout the last 12 months, the council has conducted several HPC world-wide workshops in Switzerland, Germany, China and the USA, that combined HPC education, training and featured distinguished presenters to review recent usage models and research activities,” said Scot Schultz, HPC Advisory Council director of educational outreach. “The success of our famous, HPC workshops is directly correlated to the contributions of our members, and the awards to each of them reflect our sincere appreciation.”
