We've also tested for the case where the PostgreSQL server is down and have not been able to create an issue. We therefor...
TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/23/06 -- Element 21 Golf Company ("E21") (OTC BB: EGLF)
announced today that E21's new Scandium Shock(TM) Driver and other golf
products have been named as "Best New Clubs" at the 2006 PGA Merchandise
Show by writers from Golf Today Magazine. E21 also reports on a wide
number of articles on the Company's products and its upcoming Space Launch
Program.
In an article entitled "PGA Merchandise Show 2006," in the recent March
edition of Golf Today the following was written, "with absolutely no
pressure on me from Golf Today Magazine because the products were featured
on the cover of the January, 2006 issue, I found the clubs made by Element
21 Golf Company to be the best, and perhaps the only truly revolutionary
clubs at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show. While other manufacturers are busy
moving weight around, E21 has introduced the next generation of material
for golf, Scandium, into both the shafts and heads of their clubs (Scandium
is the 21st element on the chart of elements, one ahead of and stronger
than titanium). Golf Today's January article explains in more detail the
club's advantages, but suffice it to say that they promise to provide more
distance, better accuracy, and less irritating vibrational shock to a
golfer. Hitting them, I agreed!"
Another writer had this to say about E21 and the Scandium Shock(TM) Driver:
"This new company introduced the radical new Shock(TM) driver at the 2006
[PGA Merchandise Show]. The new driver head, the result of years of
research and design by the former head of R&D at True Temper, Howard
Butler, utilizes the little known element Scandium (element 21) which
allows better optimization of the bulge and roll bringing more potential
energy to the ball on miss-hits, and drastically increasing accuracy and
length. The louvered crown adds a distinctive look to this new weapon."
In other golf publications E21 has been featured in the April edition of
Golf Tips Magazine and is in the running for Golfing Magazine's prestigious
2006 Player's Choice Awards that will be announced shortly.
E21 also reports on the extensive international press coverage it has
received in relation to its recently announced "Golf Shot Around the World
Mission" in celebration the 35th anniversary of Alan B. Shepard Jr.,
historic Apollo 14 Mission. During the past two weeks E21's Scandium story
has been covered by close to 100 newspapers, magazines, radio, and
television stations from across the globe including BBC World News, The New
York Sun, The LA Times, The Globe & Mail, The Chicago-Tribune, ABC News
Australia, and China Daily. Links to many of these articles can be found
below. In addition to the press coverage E21 also reports that its web site
has received close to 500,000 hits in the past few weeks and is now
approaching close to 1 million hits in the past 3 months
"The response to E21's new products and our Space Program has been
exceptional," stated Dr. Nataliya Hearn, E21's President and CEO. "The
awareness of E21, Scandium and our new golf products has certainly reached
global proportions, and is helping to support our plans for domestic and
international product sales and distribution," commented, Dr. Hearn.

About Element 21 Golf Company:
A number of high profile golf professionals have switched to or began
testing E21's Scandium Eagle One shafts.
E21 holds the exclusive right to manufacture golf products using
proprietary Scandium Metal Alloy. Through a sophisticated multi-technology
production path E21 manufactures Scandium drivers, shafts and other clubs
with marked improvements in distance, accuracy and feel over competing
products. E21's Scandium Alloy is 55% lighter and offers 25% strength to
weight advantage over Titanium alloys, the current standard in the golf
equipment industry. The advanced dynamics of Scandium and the material
economics offer a performance-enhanced alternative to manufacturing driver
clubs with Titanium, the largest segment of the annual 4 billion dollar
golf equipment marketplace.
E21 recently announced its "Golf Shot Around the World Mission" in
celebration of the 35th anniversary of Alan B. Shepard Jr.'s historic
Apollo 14 Mission. Just about every single record for distance in the golf
industry will be shattered this fall when an astronaut will hit a golf ball
into orbit around the earth -- using an E21 golf club. It is only natural
that this event takes place on the International Space Station, considering
that Scandium is also used on the Space Station in high strength, fatigue
resistant applications.
