AKRON, Ohio, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- White Hat Management, a national leader in K-12 learning solutions, announces the appointment of Gary Goodnight to the position of administrator for the Colorado Distance & Electronic Learning Academy (CDELA).

Goodnight will direct the administrative and operational functions of CDELA, which is a tuition-free, online home education program in Colorado.

Previously, Goodnight served as computer magnet coordinator for the Denver Public Schools. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of the program, including creation, implementation and administration of the Computer Magnet Program at Denver's North and Thomas high schools. Additionally, he established a dynamic business community and advisory board that fostered over $100,000 in grants.

Goodnight also served as a science and computer teacher with the Denver Public Schools as well as taught chemistry at the Community College of Denver.

In 1994, Goodnight was a state finalist for the Excellence in Science and Math Award and the Teaching Presidential Award.
