BearCom Wireless Worldwide Appoints Ian Torok as Director of Technical Services

DALLAS, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- BearCom Wireless Worldwide announced today the appointment of Ian Torok as the new Director of Technical Services. This key position oversees BearCom's Dallas-based Repair Depot -- the largest independent two-way radio repair center in the United States -- as well as 25 other repair portals and service locations positioned throughout the country. Mr. Torok was selected because of his strong project management and technology-based skills required by the growing nationwide wireless communications leader. Prior to joining BearCom, Mr. Torok was Manager of IT & Systems Integration at GlobeRanger Corporation, where he aligned the RFID technology firm with the latest technologies and most reliable hardware partners. His cross-functional experiences in RF and IT infrastructures will prove most beneficial to BearCom in the pursuit of new developments and the latest technological solutions available.

Mr. Torok began his career at Pagemart, Inc. and Pagenet, Inc. (both now USA Mobility.) At these businesses, he was instrumental in the implementation of numerous projects, including the deployment of RF systems for newly developed two-way messaging infrastructures and nationwide channel build-outs.

Mr. Torok is a graduate of the State University of New York, Albany.
