SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/19/12 -- Worldwide Energy & Manufacturing USA, Inc. ("Worldwide" or the "Company"), a supplier of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules under the 'Amerisolar' brand, and a supplier of contract manufacturing services for mechanical and electronic products manufacturing, today announced that Michael O'Connor resigned as a director of the Company effective June 28, 2012 and that the Board has appointed Gary Koos to fill the vacancy created by Mr. O'Connor's resignation. The Company also announced that as a result of the departure of Jeff Watson, Mr. Koos has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company and will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
