CrowdFlower announces the first round of speakers participating at CrowdConf 2012, the world’s largest crowdsourcing conference, taking place in San Francisco on October 23. Among the 500 attendees, CrowdCond will attract Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, crowdsourcing experts, academics, investors and media. The conference will include a morning keynote, case studies, panel debates, fireside chats, and “ask the expert” sessions.
To best match attendees with topics relevant to their business needs, this year’s program is built on three separate tracks, each with a unique focus. Track A will focus on microtasking and will present case studies, learning lessons, and best practices from customers, including eBay and Twitter, who have successfully implemented microtasking solutions. Track B will focus on broader industry issues such as policy regulation, how to aggregate, motivate and manage the crowd, the promise venture capitalists see in crowdsourcing, and research innovations in crowdsourcing. Track C will teach smaller businesses and entrepreneurs how to use crowdsourcing “From Ideation to Exit” including how to name and brand your new app or business; raise funds to launch; source the skilled labor to get it all done; make your big data bite-sized; and market and sell your solution.
