LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 08/31/12 -- Leading scheduled leisure airline, Monarch has announced number one British woman skier, Chemmy Alcott as the brand ambassador for its new ski routes. The arrangement will see Alcott support and promote the airline's eleven new ski routes for winter 2012/13. The new routes will provide easy access to some of Europe's best winter ski resorts via Grenoble airport in France; Friedrichshafen and Munich airports in Germany and Innsbruck in Austria.
Alcott, makes her return to the slopes following an accident in Canada whilst practicing for the World Cup event in 2010. She is currently training for the forthcoming World Championships in Schladming.

The relationship between Chemmy Alcott and Monarch will see the skier wearing the airline's brand in all her competition and practice sessions. She will become a familiar face to Monarch customers through a programme of promotional activities this winter.

Book flights to Grenoble from GBP 34 this ski season from Monarch Airlines. Monarch recently launched 'Air Packs' enabling customers to build their own flights through transparent and pre-packaged optional extras, starting from just GBP 20 per person per flight. The two new Air Packs are offered alongside the airline's range of individual products and are designed to give customers full visibility on price from the beginning of the booking process. Customers will be able to choose between two Monarch Air Packs; an Essentials Pack and an Extras Pack, combining a choice of allocated seating, hold baggage and access to online check-in.
Customers can also take advantage of MFlex, which provides improved flexibility for customers when booking flights on Monarch's scheduled network of flights. Charged at only GBP 2.50 per person, per flight, the new MFlex product must be added at the time of booking. Once added, the customer is free to make one change to their booking up to 15 days prior to departure, which includes a date change or a route change, without incurring an administration fee. What's more, if a customer selects MFlex when booking, but makes no subsequent changes to their booking, Monarch will refund them the value of MFlex in the form of a credit voucher, which can be used as part payment towards a future scheduled flight with Monarch.
