Sword Achiever are proud to announce that their AchieverPlus software solution has been successfully deployed to Coca Cola Sabco's Lakeside site in Port Elizabeth in the first phase of a Group wide roll-out.

Current Progress

The implementation followed Sword Achiever's best practice implementation guidelines and included:

• Requirements Definition Workshop (RDW): An initial RDW was held to understand Coca Cola Sabco's exact requirements for the 4 AchieverPlus modules that were to be deployed, Document, Audit, Issue and Risk Management
• Configuration: Once these objectives and requirements were agreed, a new AchieverPlus .NET R5 installation was configured and deployed onto their Live and Test servers
• Migration: As their requirements stated that they needed their existing documents within the new solution, these were then successfully migrated to the .NET AchieverPlus installation
• Training: Finally, a sword consultant provided on-site training for the 4 modules along with Administrator training for further configuration and management of the solution

The project status has now moved to go-live with a Sword project consultant offering continued support over the coming month.

What Does This Mean to Coca Cola Sabco?

With the modules now live, AchieverPlus will enable Coca Cola Sabco to document all work instructions, policies, procedures and many further document types. The system also ensures all users are effectively informed of changes through automatic email alerts and that acknowledgements are tracked through the inbuilt compliance functionality.

The Audit and Issues modules enable Coca Cola SABCO to manage their entire Audit and Corrective Actions process, planning and scheduling audits, capturing issues and improving processes through the delivery of corrective and preventative actions. The risk management software module will facilitate the accurate and up to date recording and progressing of all risks involved in the food manufacturing environment.

With the inclusion of over 100 standard reports, configurable dashboards and automatic escalation embedded into the .NET version, the AchieverPlus solution enables them to continually improve in all aspects related to safety, environment and quality.

Moving Forward

AchieverPlus will be rolled out to further sites in South Africa and to sites across the African continent as part of the Endeavour to continually improve their quality, productivity and ultimately their bottom line.
