NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) and Saks Fifth Avenue (NYSE: SKS) announced today that fashion industry icon Fern Mallis and Saks Fifth Avenue will kick off a special series of broadcasts, Fashion Insiders with Fern Mallis Live from Saks, on Fashion's Night Out, September 6.
Mallis—who is widely credited as the creator of New York Fashion Week— will host the series live from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City, taking listeners inside one of the country's most iconic department stores.
Fashion Insiders with Fern Mallis Live from Saks will kick off with a Fashion's Night Out special airing live on Thursday, September 6 at 7:00 pm ET on SiriusXM Stars, channel 107.
Designers, fashionistas, celebrities and other guests, including SiriusXM host Lance Bass, will join Mallis on the show. Fashion Insiders with Fern Mallis Live from Saks will air as a monthly series through the end of the year on SiriusXM Stars.
Additionally, Mallis will host special daily broadcasts of her SiriusXM show Fashion Insiders with Fern Mallis throughout Fashion Week, offering millions of listeners unprecedented, insider access to the most prominent names in the industry and a front row seat to the hottest shows. The daily show will air from Thursday, September 6 through Thursday, September 13 from 10:00 am –11:00 am ET on SiriusXM Stars, channel 107. On Friday, September 14 at 7:00 pm ET, Mallis will host a special Fashion Week "Wrap Up" show from the SiriusXM studios with special guests.
