EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners and Metal Technology Co. Ltd. (MTC) have signed an agreement to establish MTC as a designated service provider for Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine part repairs. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) company.

Under the long-term agreement, MTC will perform high pressure turbine/low pressure turbine blade and vane repairs for Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines at its Narita, Japan-based facility.
