Enterprise Management Associates Names Knoa “One of the True Innovators”

Research notes that UEM may become the most effective transformer for better IT business alignment

Knoa Software, a provider of user experience and performance management software, has announced that a white paper from research and consulting firm Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) has labeled Knoa as “one of the true innovators” in User Experience Management (UEM) with a core focus on end-user productivity as it relates to business goals. In “User Experience Management and Business Impact – A Cornerstone for IT Transformation,” EMA explores the various roles and attitudes that surround UEM and customer experience management deployments and adoption, as well as the leading technologies and instrumentation requirements across small, medium and larger enterprises.

According to the paper, through its award-winning User Experience and Performance Manager (EPM) solution, Knoa can not only support broader requirements for optimizing critical ERP and other applications to individual user and business outcomes, but provide broader insight on application effectiveness in terms of design and delivery. These values can support development operations, service desks, centers of excellence (COE), and operational requirements for managing applications in production.

“No vendor can match Knoa’s granularity and depth in capturing critical criteria such as end-user productivity, proficiency (number of errors), efficiency (number of steps per process), and effectiveness (success versus failure ratio),” said Dennis Drogseth, vice president at EMA. “As Knoa evolves, EMA looks forward to watching it assume yet greater strengths in analytics, role-centered reporting and broader UEM requirements for insights into application usage.”

Other Knoa solutions evaluated in the paper include Knoa Global End-User Monitor (GEM)™, which enables organizations to monitor all desktop and web-based applications running on users' desktops and collects specific metrics on utilization and user behavior. GEM functions as a complementary tool to EPM, providing an extra layer of visibility into end-users' application usage.

“EMA's white paper illustrates why 20 percent of the Fortune 50 and hundreds of Global 5000 companies have already licensed Knoa software to power their user experience and optimize their performance,” said Thad Eidman, CEO of Knoa Software. “UEM is a powerful analytics framework that enables organizations to optimize business process and deliver value. Our unique points of differentiation enable Knoa EPM to deliver solutions that address high value use cases in IT Service and Functional Support, Application Support, Training and Education and Line of Business areas.”
