Recently my keyboard keeps on switching to French from English and it is very annoying. After some thinking I realized that I like to use keyboard shortcuts rather than the mouse and one combination I seem to hit accidentally a lot is CTRL + SHIFT with my right hand.
The solution to getting my English layout back is to just keep on pressing that same combination again. I don’t know if this works with other languages also.
Two ways to get your English keyboard layout back:
Press
- CTRL + SHIFT or
- left ALT + SHIFT
sometimes just keep on pressing the combination to cycle through the languages until it works again.
