PITTSBURG, Kan., Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BMO Not-for-Profit Services, a part of BMO Financial Group and a division of BMO Harris Bank N.A., announced today the selection of the Pritchett Trust's 2011 grant recipients. More than $395,000 in grants will be distributed to organizations in Southeast Kansas, the majority of which operate in Crawford County.
The mission of Pritchett Trust is to improve the quality of life in Crawford County and Southeast Kansas by supporting initiatives that serve these populations.
The Trust was funded in 1994 after the deaths of long-time Pittsburg residents, William B. Pritchett, veteran of World War I, and Athlyn C. Pritchett. During the 1930's and 1940's, they invested in oil and gas leases in Kansas and Oklahoma, which proved to be successful.

"We are proud of the role our advisory board plays to make this happen, and in turn, each grant recipient helps our communities flourish."
