Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Bond and Option Strategies Fund Declares Quarterly Distribution

BOSTON, Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Bond and Option Strategies Fund (NYSE: EXD) (the "Fund"), a closed-end management investment company, today declared its quarterly distribution of $0.425 per common share. The distribution is expected to be paid on September 28, 2012, to shareholders of record on September 21, 2012.  The ex-date is September 19, 2012. 

At this time, the Fund believes that a portion of the September distribution may be comprised of amounts from sources other than net investment income.  If that is the case, you will be notified in writing.  Further information will be available prior to the payment date at   http://funds.eatonvance.com.  The final determination of tax characteristics of the Fund's distributions will occur after the end of the year, at which time it will be reported to shareholders.
