THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexeo Solutions has announced it has added a new Senior Vice President of Plastics, Shawn Williams. Mr. Williams is the former President and CEO of Momentive Performance Materials' Global Sealants division, and began his tenure at Nexeo Solutions on Monday, September 10, 2012. He is reporting directly to Nexeo's President and CEO, David Bradley.

Williams comes to Nexeo with an abundance of professional leadership experience, including more than 20 years with industry giant, General Electric Company, which will also be a value-add for the Nexeo's global commercial and industrial strategies.
Within the scope of this new role, Shawn will be responsible for sales, marketing, and product management for the company's Global Plastics line of business. He will lead all commercial aspects of the Plastics organization with a focus on profitable growth and optimum use of resources.
