- Graduate students at Hult will now be able to study at a 6th location in Sao Paulo, one of the world's fastest-growing cities.
BOSTON, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting in the spring of 2013, students enrolled in Hult's MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of International Business courses will be able to spend up to 6 weeks living and studying in Brazil's biggest city -- Sao Paulo. The buzzing metropolis is home to some of the world's foremost corporations, and is widely regarded as the commercial capital of Latin America.
To provide students with the best-possible learning environment, Hult has teamed up with Fundacao Dom Cabral (FDC), the Brazilian business school recently ranked eighth-best in the world by the Financial Times for its executive education program. Students will be learning at FDC's state-of-the-art campus in the downtown district of Vila Olimpia, an area that has already attracted multinationals such as Google, Microsoft, Unilever and Symantec. Here, students will be offered Portuguese lessons, and will be given expert advice on how to do business in Brazil -- a vast, culturally rich country that has grown quickly to become the world's fifth-largest economy.
The announcement of a new rotation city adds another dimension to Hult's Global Campus Rotation program, which encourages students to gain valuable experience abroad. Students rotating to Sao Paulo will be able to take part in an experience-driven 'Action Project', which calls upon their problem-solving skills and gives them the chance to work for a multinational overseas. This hands-on method of learning within a foreign market is unique, and in 2012 the Financial Times ranked Hult first for 'International Experience' -- topping the list of the 100 best business schools in the world.
Welcoming Sao Paulo to an already impressive list of study locations that includes Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, and Shanghai, Hult President, Dr. Stephen Hodges said: "Practical exposure is crucial for anyone who wants to understand the subtle differences between doing business in the world's most powerful economies. That is why we are giving all of our graduate students the chance to learn from companies with a truly global footprint, and students who are familiar with the Brazilian market will have a distinct advantage in the global workforce."
