SEATTLE, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Medio Systems Inc., a leading developer of Big Data predictive analytics, today announced the availability of a software development kit (SDK) for the Unity Game Engine. Unity is an integrated authoring tool for creating 3D video games or other interactive content such as architectural visualizations or real-time 3D animations. Medio Systems' SDK will support developers creating applications for iOS and Android operating systems.
Medio anticipates there will be significant interest in this SDK because Unity ranked No. 1 for mobile game developer technology in a recent 2012 survey conducted by Gamasutra. It topped the list with 53.1 percent of developers reporting using Unity compared to 39.8 percent using a custom engine.
Medio's SDK for Unity is available today. In addition Medio offers SDKs for developers of iOS applications, Android applications and JavaScript Web applications.
