"Latinas want to grow and prosper and they are ready to step up," says Nely Galán. "I am grateful to my friend Linda Mazón Gutierrez and HWC for creating a national leadership venue in Phoenix. The Adelante Movement is thrilled to be a part of this year's conference. I am also proud to welcome to Adelante, a woman that had the courage to run for President of her country, despite her humble beginnings. Nobel Peace Laureate Rigoberta Menchú is truly an ordinary woman who has created an extraordinary life. If she can do it, the women of The Adelante Movement can accomplish anything. Her life is an inspiration to us all of what we can achieve for ourselves and our families."
"On behalf of The Hispanic Women's Corporation, we are proud to welcome The Adelante Movement: Tour to Phoenix," said Linda Mazón Gutierrez, President of HWC. "We Latinas are aware of our potential as an emerging economic force and we know this is our time to bring financial opportunities and abundance to our families. We are excited to join The Adelante Movement to help ourselves and our communities."
"We believe that empowered women are the foundation to stronger communities. That's why Coca-Cola has believed in The Adelante Movement and quickly became committed to partnering with Nely to develop a solution to helping Latinas soar," said Reinaldo Padua, Assistant Vice President, Hispanic Marketing, Coca-Cola North America. "Adelante looks to inspire Latinas to pursue their dreams -- whether these dreams are about getting physically active, going back to school or opening your own business. Stronger women will create stronger families and communities."
