THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/14/12 -- Mr. Pierre Gagne (the "Offeror") announces that he acquired 2,366,000 common shares of Metalcorp Limited (TSX VENTURE:MTC) ("Metalcorp") on the open market at $0.02 per share.

As a result of this acquisition, the Offeror now owns or controls 11,955,442 Common Shares representing approximately 16.34% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares. In addition, the Offeror owns 690,000 stock options that, if exercised, would represent approximately 0.94% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.

The Offeror has acquired the securities for investment purposes and has no present intention of acquiring additional securities of the Issuer (other than with respect to the possible exercise of some or all of the Warrants).
