Hoffman Laboratories Begins Shipping BreatheX(TM) Portable CPAP System

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/15/06 -- Hoffman Laboratories, LLC announced today that it has received clearance from the California Food and Drug Bureau to begin shipping BreatheX CPAP systems from its Chatsworth, California manufacturing facility. CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) devices are used to treat the millions of Americans who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea. The Company will exhibit the BreatheX CPAP system at the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) meeting in Salt Lake City, June 19-21 (Booth #642).

Dennis Nasto, VP of Sales and Marketing for Hoffman Labs, stated: "Consumer and provider interest has been strong since we first began showing our product to dealers and patients in late March. We're excited to be filling orders."

The BreatheX is a CPAP, in the shape of a neck pillow, encased in soft memory foam that can be positioned next to or worn by the user in bed. A built in rechargeable lithium-ion battery offers sleep apnea sufferers a truly mobile and comfortable alternative to conventional bedside CPAP units. The BreatheX can easily be used while traveling, camping, or hiking. With the BreatheX, there's no need for the industry standard 6-foot hose that contributes to mask leaks and can cause sleep arousals.

BreatheX is extremely quiet compared to box-type CPAP machines due to its state-of-the-art integrated motor-blower. This revolutionary design allows for superior balance and efficiency, which results in an ultra quiet motor without significant heat build-up.
