A new software interface launched today – ResponderSync™ – integrates staff assignment information across multiple hospital systems to improve nursing team workflows and deliver a more complete and timely picture of staff/patient assignments.
ResponderSync is a software interface developed for Rauland-Borg’s leading nurse call system, Rauland Responder®. Responder is installed in more than one million acute care beds in 40 countries and is the leading nurse call system helping hospitals and staff to improve workflow, patient satisfaction and communications.
Using ResponderSync, patient/staff information can now be shared across a single front-end to sync electronic medical records, medical devices, RTLS locating systems and mobile phones with staff assignments. By integrating the nurse call staff assignment function across the multiple systems, ResponderSync helps hospital staff deliver quality care and balance the on-duty staff with patient loads.
Under current practice, there is a proliferation of overlapping and duplicate systems. Nursing staff must take the time, and remember, to sign-on and sign-off independently to each system being used. Changes to assignments also must be updated independently on each system, as they happen.
Now, one sign-on via ResponderSync gives access to each of these multiple systems, removing the silos between them and sharing information in a timely way.
