Chris Kagy, Development InfoStructure, Inc.’s (Devis) Deputy Director of Special Projects, is the first person to earn the Master Trainer designation from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD).
The ASTD Master Trainer Program is a unique assessment-based certificate that covers the entire process of delivering training, including assessment, preparation, creating a positive learning environment, facilitating learning, and evaluating learning. Founded in theory and focused on practice and application, this program focuses on developing professional capacity in the “delivering” training area of expertise. Mr. Kagy completed several on-line and synchronous learning events and courses, including a practical demonstration of his skills, in order to complete the requirements and pass the final assessment.
