This year’s event is being held on September 24-27, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.

In his speaking session, titled “ICS Security – Talking Management and Strategy,” Michael will present on the importance of critical infrastructure security. His session will cover the successes and failures of industrial control system (ICS) security, as well as the necessary strategies for operators who are responsible for managing and controlling automation systems.

In his role as director of customer solutions, Michael brings more than 20 years of security experience working with critical infrastructure. Throughout his career, Michael has provided security services for critical infrastructure customers, such as CitiGroup and the Federal Bureau of Investigations and several customers in the utilities and chemical industries.

ISA Automation Week 2012 is an annual technical conference, which brings together automation and control professionals to discuss their experiences within the ICS industry. The conference is comprised of sessions that focus on new technologies and techniques being used in the field to address the challenges automation professionals face in their work.
