TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/12 -- There will be no shortage of hometown pride at this year's annual Toronto Celebrates Sudbury charity event, taking place November 14, 2012 at 99 Sudbury, 99 Sudbury Street, Toronto. All proceeds from the event are earmarked for Health Sciences North.

Now in its second year, the Toronto event gives Sudbury expats a chance to reminisce and network while raising funds for a hometown charity.

"There's a lot of hometown pride for Sudbury here in Toronto and we're happy to have this year's proceeds heading to Health Sciences North, which offers the highest quality of patient care and research to the Sudbury Region and beyond."

Last year's inaugural Toronto Celebrates Sudbury event brought together over 250 Sudbury expats and raised funds for Laurentian University's Next 50 capital campaign.
